Swedish Christmas Cookies

Ingredients
  1. 6 egg yolks
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 3/4 cup butter
  4. 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  5. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  7. 3 Tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Bring water to a boil in a heavy saucepan. Separate each egg carefully placing the yolk into the boiling water. Cook until the yolk is hard boiled. In the meantime, add the butter and sugar to an electric mixer. Blend til fluffy. Then sieve the hot yolks into the butter and sugar mixture. Add the remaining ingredients. This dough is perfect for cut out cookies or to use a cookie gun. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
