A cocktail starts the meal, and chef selected wines will be poured and paired with each course. Tonight’s feature, local farm-crafted spirits, and spirit inspired culinary pairings. Grown from the finest grain and handcrafted and distilled on their fifth-generation farm in DeKalb, Whiskey Acres’ Walter family offers bourbon, corn whiskey, rye whiskey and vodka. They know the land, their ingredients, and what it means to pay attention to detail. From seed, to spirit, to plate, enjoy! On the menu: Artisan and Seasonal Crudités, Pork Belly and Bourbon Apples, Roasted Beet and Strawberry Salad with Pickled Onions, Goat Cheese and Fig Balsamic Vinaigrette, Whiskey Braised Short Ribs, Korean Potato Pancake with Roasted Asparagus, and Coffee & Bourbon Pots de Crème with Caramel Popcorn, with spirit tastings and cocktails.
