This Week at Marcel’s: November 18th through 24th

And just like that, it’s here!  We have been sneaking out some of our holiday merchandise these last few weeks but Monday night we will go full bore and turn the whole store into a holiday wonderland!  We’ve got your old favorites (Frasier Fir anyone?) and beautiful newness! Check out this pic of our table from the Wheaton Housewalk yesterday chock full of Cody Foster bottle brush trees in the most gorgeous colors imaginable.
 
The perfect night to come in to check out all we’ve got to offer is Tuesday, November 19th at Downtown Glen Ellyn’s Ladies Night OutGet your ticket here and stop into all of the 20+ stores offering tasty treats, a delicious drink and special offers.  Marcel’s will have two awesome gifts with purchase and of course we think we’ve got the best food in town.  It’s going to be a great night — don’t miss it!
 
Thanksgiving is right around the corner — why don’t you let us help you out with a few of the items on your table?  Making the gravy can be the most stressful part of the meal — take an hour on Thursday, November 21st at one of our three sessions where you will not only learn how to make the perfect stock and gravy but you’ll take some of each home! Freeze it until Thanksgiving day and we sure won’t tell anyone! Then on Saturday, November 23rd at 10 am, Chef Robin will share all her secrets for fluffy buttery dinner rolls and send you home with 18 plus two compound butters. Can’t make it on Saturday? We are doing it all again on Monday 11/25 at 10 am! Pop those in the freezer, warm them on Thanksgiving day and hear the oohs and aahs around your table.

    I’m considering this as a couples night gift for my husband and I and 4 of our friends for Christmas. Are there any couples-specific nights in January or February?

      Rebecca, Any of our classes are great for couples and we see many couples attending classes, particularly on the weekends. We do have one class that is specifically billed as a couples class and that is on Saturday, February 10th with Chef Paul. Hope to see you soon!
