Marinated Shrimp

Marinated Shrimp

Ingredients
  1. 3 pounds cooked shrimp
  2. 1 cup vegetable oil
  3. 1/4 cup olive oil
  4. 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  5. 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  6. 2 tablespoon white balsamic vinegar
  7. 1/4 cup sugar
  8. 4 cloves garlic
  9. 3 bay leaves
  10. 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  11. juice of 1 lemon
  12. 1 Tablespoon each: dried oregano, mustard, basil, dill
  13. 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  14. Salt and freshly ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix together in large bowl. Marinate overnight.

    These are, in essence, “pickled” shrimp? What flavor would these have. Can’t wrap my mind around it, but I want to make some. Love new ways with shrimp.

    Would these be set out to be DIPPED in something?

      Debbie, they are not pickled but are indeed marinated in the vinaigrette mixture. They are going to have an herby, tangy flavor. You can definitely dip them in something (a remoulade type sauce or a cocktail sauce) but they are delicious on their own as well.
