South Carolina Cooked Cole Slaw

Ingredients
  1. 1 Head of Red Cabbage Sliced
  2. 1 Head of Green Cabbage Sliced
  3. 1 Red Onion Sliced Thin
  4. 1 Carrot Shredded
  5. 2 Green Onions Sliced Thin
  6. ¼ teaspoon ground Coriander
  7. ¼ teaspoon smoked Paprika
  8. ¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
  9. ½ teaspoon Celery Salt
  10. ¼ teaspoon dried Oregano
  11. ¼ teaspoon dried Thyme
  12. ¼ teaspoon Pepper
  13. ½ cup granulated Sugar
  14. ½ cup of Apple Cider
  15. ¼ cup of Apple Juice
Instructions
  1. Combine cabbage, red onion and carrots in glass mixing bowl. Place spices, sugar, apple juice and apple cider into a sauce pan. Bring liquids to a boil. Allow to boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat to a simmer and allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Bring the ingredients to a boil and simmering for 15 minutes allow the ingredients to release and combine flavors. After 15 minutes of simmering, allow the liquid to cool for 10 minutes and pour over cabbage, carrot and red onion mixture. Place coleslaw in refrigerator, allow to cool before serving. Garnish with green onions, and check seasonings.
