Demystify the timeless art of sourdough bread making in this demonstration class. Whether you’re a first-time baker or looking to refine your technique, Chef Melissa will guide you step-by-step through the entire sourdough bread making process. You’ll learn the fundamentals, understand the “why” behind each step, and gain the confidence to bake delicious sourdough bread at home.
Learn how to maintain a sourdough starter, make a basic sourdough bread dough at home, properly shape, score and bake a rustic boule (round), utilize sourdough discard and take home your own fresh starter to begin the process at home! Enjoy Marche charcuterie and cheese with fresh baked sourdough in class.
