Orders
How do I place an order?
Ordering is easy! Select the product(s) you wish to purchase and click "Add to Cart." Click the shopping cart icon to review your items. Click "Proceed to Checkout" and enter your shipping/billing information. Review your order details and click "Place Order." You will receive a confirmation email shortly after, followed by a tracking number once your order ships.

How do I track my order?
You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Order tracking is also available in your account.
Can I change or cancel my order?

Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, you will receive an order confirmation within 24 hours of your purchase. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at orders@marcelsculinaryexperience.com or (630) 790-8500.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a variety of payments including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Marcel's gift cards.
What items are available for store pickup?
Items marked "Pick up Available at Marcel's Culinary Experience" are available for pick up within 24 hours.
Do I have to pay for the store pick up option?
No, there are no additional charges for store pick up.
How will I know when my store pick up item is available?
You will receive an email confirming that the order is ready for pick up.
What do I need to bring with me for in-store pickup?
Please bring your order email confirmation, either printed or on your phone.
Do you price match?
Yes, Marcel's guarantees the best price both in-store and online. The item must be identical in brand name, size, color, model number and currently in-stock. For online purchases, please call the store at (630) 790-8500. For in-store purchases, please see a sales associate.

What if my item is marked as delivered but I haven't received it?
When packages are marked delivered but they are not at your front door, we have found that the package is usually delivered to a neighbor's home or a different location on your property. If you cannot locate the package, please contact the store and we are happy to help.
Classes & Private Events
How do I register for a class?
Visit the Classes page and select either Class Detail or Class Calendar. Select the class for purchase, edit the quantity for the desired number of seats and click Next to move through the checkout process. Upon registration, an email confirmation of your class registration will be sent. If a class is listed as "Waitlist Only", adding yourself to the waitlist ensures you are notified when seats become available.
How long are classes?
Specific class times are listed on each class description.
Hands-On and Chefs Table Demonstration classes are 2 1/2 hours. Baking and technique-based Workshop classes are 3-4 hours. 1 1/2 hour demo classes are also offered on occasion. Kids classes range from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours, depending on age and class format.

We offer a variety of formats.
What are Hands-On classes?
Guests work in groups to prepare and enjoy a multiple course meal. Our professional chefs provide tips, tricks and hands-on instruction, leading the group in creating delicious and seasonal recipes, culminating in a seated dinner.
What are Chef's Table Demonstration classes?
The perfect blend of live cooking, expert technique, and course-by-course service. Guests sit back and relax as our chefs guide you through each dish, sharing professional tips, insights, and behind-the-scenes expertise along the way. While enjoying the experience, guests are encouraged to take notes, ask questions, and interact with the chef throughout the demonstration — creating an engaging and unforgettable culinary journey.
What are Cocktail Party classes?
Guests take turns at the cooking stations creating appetizers to share with the rest of the group. Our chef shares tips, tricks and demonstrations along the way. This is a cocktail party style event with passed appetizers culminating in a meal of small plates.
What are Baking Classes & Workshops?
Our baking classes and technique-based workshops blend classic technique with hands-on instruction. Designed as immersive 3-4 hour experiences, these sessions allow students to dive deeper into foundational skills, refine their technique, and build confidence in the art and science of baking.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cannot make your reservation, please call up to 72 hours before the class start time for a store credit in the amount of the class. The credit will be emailed; it does not expire and can be used toward another class or on merchandise at Marcel's. Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we have already incurred food and staff costs. You are welcome to find someone who would enjoy attending class in your place. To make changes to your reservation, please call the store at 630-790-8500.
What should I wear?
We provide aprons for use during class. Please dress comfortably. For safety reasons, we request closed toe shoes in the kitchen and hair pulled back.
Do I need to bring anything?
All equipment and ingredients are provided.
What if I'm sick?
Within 72 hours, our chef has already begun preparing for the class. We are not able to offer a credit or refund; you are welcome to find someone to attend in your place.

You can redeem your gift card online by adding the number into the gift card field on the check out page.
How do I check the gift card balance?
If you received a digital gift card, you can click the link in the original gift card email. Otherwise, you can contact the store and we are happy to check the balance for you.
